What this site keeps, and why.

Solo FRP is not released yet, so this site describes the game and keeps a waitlist. It keeps as little as it can: a count of visits if you allow it, and the address you give the waitlist.

Who runs this site

The site is run by Solo FRP, who decides what it collects. For anything on this page, write to [email protected].

Counting visits with Google Analytics

The first time you open the site, a banner asks whether it may count visits with Google Analytics. Until you choose Accept, the page loads nothing from Google and sets no cookie.

If you accept, Google Analytics 4 loads and Google sets its cookies, _ga and one starting _ga_, to tell visits apart. Google then receives which pages you open, the site or search that sent you, your browser, device and screen size, how long you stay, and a sign-up event (never the address) when you join the waitlist. Google estimates a rough location from your IP address and states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store the address itself. Google may process this data outside your country, including in the United States.

Every advertising signal stays denied, and Google signals and ad personalization are switched off, so the count is not joined with Google account data or used to personalize ads. Google keeps the data for as long as the site's Google Analytics property is set to keep it, then deletes it.

Changing your choice

Use Cookie settings at the foot of any page to accept or decline again. Declining after you accepted stops the count at once and deletes the _ga cookies from your browser. Clearing this site's data in your browser does the same and brings the banner back.

The waitlist

When you join the waitlist, the address you type is sent to Loops (loops.so), the email service that will send the launch letter, marked as a waitlist sign-up from this site. It is kept for one letter when your seat is ready, and nothing else is sent to it. Write to [email protected] and the address is deleted from the list. Loops may process the address outside your country, including in the United States.

Fonts and hosting

The typefaces are served from this site itself, so reading it asks nothing of Google Fonts or any other font service. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages: like any web host, Cloudflare receives the technical details of each request, such as your IP address, the address asked for and your browser's name, to deliver the page and protect it from abuse, and keeps them in its server logs under its own policy. Cloudflare may process them outside your country, including in the United States.

On what grounds

  • Counting visits rests on your consent, given with Accept, which you can withdraw at any time through Cookie settings (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • The waitlist rests on your consent, given when you join, which you can withdraw by asking for your address to be deleted (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • The hosting logs rest on the site's legitimate interest in delivering its pages and protecting them from abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

What your browser keeps

The page keeps two entries in your browser's local storage, which it reads there and sends nowhere:

  • loremaster_ledger_v1: the address you joined the waitlist with, so the page shows it when you return. The form's Use a different address button removes it.
  • loremaster_consent_v1: your cookie choice and when you made it.

Your rights

You may ask what the site holds about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected]. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
